As a trainee for Fantagio Entertainment, he was introduced alongside other ASTRO´s members in the web-drama To Be Continued in 2015.

Astro debuted on February 23, 2016 with the mini-album Spring Up with the most famous song is Hide&Seek. Cha Eun Woo is the vocalist and visual of the group.

The group was born out of the i-Teen project, a Fantagio project to recruit new talent and which allows the public to follow the progress of the label's trainees. On August 14, 2015, the company announced the new series that would feature the members, called To Be Continued, along with the members' profile. The series also has the participation of Seo Kang Joon of the group 5urprise, Yeoreum of the group Hello Venus and some members of the group Weki Meki (Trainees at the time) as extras, both groups formed by Fantagio.

On January 21, 2016, the group starred in their own reality show, titled "Astro Ok! Ready", showing some of the group's intimacy.

In celebration of ASTRO's 7th anniversary, Chaumet presented us fans with this wonderful video promoting their #StoriesofLiens campaign and created this magnificent look of our loves. Not even MJ was forgotten, as his microphone was part of the photos and celebration with them! Thank you Chaumet!

ASTROSCOPE

These cartoon animations created by Shelter Animation @shelter.animation simply open and close the ASTRO film that was shown in theaters on November 27th and 30th, 2022. Too beautiful! They captured the spirit of our six stars and how amazing they are.
